Position: Warehouse Supervisor, Mail Sorting Center
Employee Type: Full-time

Location: Aurora, IL

Job Duties:

• Supervise employees at a Surface Transfer Center (STC) for the US Postal Service under contract with LGSTX Distribution Services, Inc. (LDS).
• Ensure accurate, timely sorting of mail by employees.
• Perform supervisory functions including staffing, interviewing, selection, training, rewards/discipline, performance reviews, attendance, timekeeping, and safety compliance.
• Maintain effective communication regarding operational requirements to employees.
• Responsible for operational policy communication and problem resolution.
• Assist Manager and Shift Managers of STC as necessary.

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED.
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience in freight, logistics, distribution, or warehouse operations.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work with corporate LGSTX teams including Executive Management, HR, Safety, and Training.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office software.
• Knowledge of regulations governing government contractors and applicable laws.
• Ability to lead a safe work environment following policies and regulations.
• Flexible hours to support 24/7 operations.
• Ability to lift objects up to 35 lbs.
• Ability to pass federal background check and drug test for USPS access.
