Job summary

Lonestar Electric Supply is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to manage warehouse associates and ensure safe, efficient, and profitable operations. The role leads daily workflow, staffing, safety adherence, hiring and training, and cross-department coordination.

The position requires strong communication and supervisory skills, with a high school diploma (associate degree preferred) and at least five years in a warehouse setting. On-site work in Texas with competitive benefits.

Responsibilities

• Hires and trains new warehouse employees.
• Handles discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy.
• Ensures efficient warehouse operations through collaboration and coordination with other departments.
• Completes all required management reports.
• Executes maintenance activities when needed.
• Researches, identifies, and presents new ideas to improve warehouse operations.
• Attends and participates in regularly scheduled and impromptu meetings.
• Resolves discrepancies with shipping, invoices, packing slips, and receiver reports.
• Ensures compliance with applicable federal, state, local, and company safety policies.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

• Regularly works around moving mechanical parts and in warehouse conditions that are not always climate controlled and may include, heat and humidity.
• Noise level may be loud at times.
• Must be able to move objects and use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue. Constant movement and use of limbs; this position requires good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina.
