ABOUT THE ROLE

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and actively supporting daily warehouse operations to ensure the smooth, efficient, and compliant flow of medical equipment, supplies, and distribution services across assigned branch locations. This role supports both local and remote warehouse functions by managing inventory control, delivery coordination, equipment tracking, and staff performance to maintain high service standards for patients and referral partners.

The Warehouse Supervisor serves as a key operational leader, ensuring equipment availability, order accuracy, delivery efficiency, and regulatory compliance while supporting cross-functional communication between warehouse staff, asset technicians, and branch teams. This is a hands‑on operational leadership role that combines direct team supervision with active involvement in inventory management, equipment movement, delivery coordination, problem‑solving, and day‑to‑day warehouse activities.

This role requires strong leadership, problem‑solving, and organizational skills with the ability to manage people and actively execute operational processes in a fast‑paced healthcare environment.

This role is responsible for overseeing operations across multiple warehouse sites in North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, and Georgia and will require regular travel between locations to support day‑to‑day operations, staff, and warehouse needs.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
  • Supervise daily warehouse operations to ensure efficient order processing, equipment staging, delivery coordination, and timely distribution of home medical equipment and supplies.
  • Coordinate pulling, routing, scheduling, delivery, and pick‑up activities using internal delivery teams and third‑party couriers including UDS, FedEx, UPS, HealthEx, and other vendors as needed.
  • Maintain equipment and serial number integrity within internal systems, including asset tracking, lot number management, manufacturer maintenance requirements, recalls, and delivery documentation.
  • Oversee inventory organization across warehouse locations, including vehicle inventory, supply transfers between branches, and ensuring sufficient stock levels for both local and remote operations.
  • Manage warehouse staff communication and performance, including assisting with hiring, coordinating annual performance evaluations, approving payroll, and supporting on‑call scheduling in accordance with Company policy.
  • Ensure delivery vehicles are properly maintained, organized, and repaired as needed to support safe and reliable operations.
  • Resolve client and patient concerns related to equipment distribution, service delays, or supply issues, and elevate matters to the appropriate department when necessary.
  • Generate, review, and analyze warehouse reports and operational metrics to improve efficiency, identify issues, and support leadership decision‑making.
  • Support compliance with company policies, accreditation standards, and all applicable laws and regulations, including participation in inspections, reporting incidents, and maintaining a safe work environment.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Previous warehouse, logistics, distribution, or healthcare operations experience required; supervisory or leadership experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management, equipment tracking, delivery coordination, and warehouse process optimization.
  • Experience supervising staff, coordinating schedules, reviewing payroll, and managing day‑to‑day team communication.
  • Knowledge of compliance standards, accreditation requirements, and safety practices within a healthcare or DME environment preferred.
  • Strong problem‑solving, organizational, and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced setting.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to professionally support patients, staff, vendors, and leadership teams.
  • Proficiency with warehouse systems, inventory tracking platforms, Microsoft Office, email, and general business software applications.
