Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to manage the Northlake, TX warehouse shift. You will supervise daily operations, drive safety, and ensure high performance to meet customer expectations and KPIs.

The role requires strong leadership, planning, and communication skills, with shift coverage Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM–11:00 PM and occasional weekends. Competitive benefits and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma/GED required.
• 0 to 1 year in direct supervisory/leadership experience.
• 1 year or more in transportation, warehouse or distribution environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate and oversee day to day logistics operations.
• Plan and review logistics processes with the Logistics Manager to meet standards and customer service specifications.
• Establish work schedules and procedures and coordinate activities of workers to ensure optimal shift/team logistics.
• Accountable for site KPI.
• Collaborate with customer in all aspects of operations.
• Meet regularly with team members to monitor progress, coach and counsel, and recognize successes.
• Promote diversity and inclusion and seek process improvements.
• Carry out performance evaluations and recommend rewards or merit increases.
• Address performance problems through corrective action and disciplinary process.
• Implement health & safety and security initiatives and ensure adherence to policies.
• Provide orientation for employees and Lead Hands to perform their jobs.
