Job summary

Chadwell Supply in Florida is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Inventory Clerk with leadership experience to support the Inventory Control Manager. You will assist in order processing, verify shipments, and help maintain clean, safe warehouse operations.

The role may require early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays with a 6AM start on a full-time schedule across 29 branches nationwide. Benefits include health, life and 401K, PTO, and career growth.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Pass pre-employment, background check and drug testing.
• Good interpersonal skills and able to communicate with vendors, managers and coworkers.
• Capable of lifting over 60 pounds, standing for long periods, climbing stairs and ladders, and moving products up steps and ramps.
• Experience operating warehouse equipment including sit-down and standing forklifts, and standing order selectors.
• Leadership experience of at least 1 year.
• Management experience of 4 or more people.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, communicate, and expedite branch product replenishment paperwork receiving and shipments.
• Complete daily change processes for the branch system, including data entry and communication of changes to Chadwell Branch personnel and other Chadwell Supply departments as required.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between the Chadwell Distribution Center and Chadwell Supply branch warehouse personnel.
• Provide excellent customer satisfaction through prompt and accurate product inventory, selection, checking, receiving and paperwork/documents communication.
• Maintain a positive attitude and cooperative spirit with other Chadwell employees; supervise and assist with product selection and transfer packaging to ensure order pulling and shipment accuracy.
• Ensure that all inventory, receiving, and shipments are accurately recorded and tracked in the Chadwell Supply computer operating system.
• Work with management on inventory, receiving and shipment process changes as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Overview

This position is responsible for assisting the Inventory Control Manager with the performance of the warehouse order processing team. This role also may be required to pull and check orders to ensure all work is completed within allowed time constraints. This role assists in keeping the warehouse clean and safe. Daily work schedules vary according to business transactions and customer needs. Work shifts may include and require late nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays.

What you will need

• Be a minimum of 21 years of age.
• Pass all pre-employment, background check and drug testing.
• Have good interpersonal skills and be able to effectively communicate with vendors, managers and coworkers.
• Be in good physical condition and capable of lifting in excess of 60 pounds, standing for extended periods of time, able to climb steps and ladders, and capable of bending, stooping, and carrying products up steps, stairs, and down ramps and walkways.
• Have previous experience operating warehouse equipment including sit down forklifts, standing forklifts, and standing order selectors.
• Have previous leadership experience of at least 1 year.
• Have previous management experience of 4 or more people

How you will make an Impact

• Employee must provide a positive attitude, morale and cooperative spirit with other Chadwell employees. Supervise and assist with product selection and transfer product packaging and palletization to ensure order pulling and shipment efficiency and accuracy.
• Ensure that all inventory, receiving, and shipments are accurately recorded and tracked in the Chadwell Supply computer operating system.
• Employee is responsible to work with management on inventory, receiving and shipment process changes as needed.
