Job summary

First Quality is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor in Salt Lake City, UT to oversee plant-level materials planning, production scheduling, inventory control, and finished goods deployment. You will align production with supply chain and distribution targets, minimize waste, and keep inventory at optimal levels.

The role leads a team handling Finished Goods and Raw Materials, driving efficiency and cost control across shifts, with emphasis on safety, GMP, and ISO compliance.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree or college-level courses in a business related field or 3-5 years’ experience in supervisory position
• Five to ten years’ experience in Warehouse operations
• 70/30 Warehouse floor and office
• Frequent interaction with associates and cross-functional teams
• May require schedule flexibility based on project needs

Responsibilities

• Establishes operational procedures for verification of incoming and outgoing shipments and keeping warehouse inventory current
• Coordinates warehouse activities with production, customer service, planning, quality assurance, and purchasing
• Supervises shifts to maximize efficiency and productivity
• Hires and releases warehouse personnel to maintain efficient operations
• Manages employee relations, training, discipline, and appraisals
• Maintains payroll and absenteeism reports
• Generates warehouse productivity reports and tracks labor hours within budget
• Performs internal and external warehouse audits for inventory controls and regulatory compliance
• Directs all finish goods and raw materials inventories and disposition of damaged/rework material
• Coordinates truck driver flow in and out of the facility
• Recommends equipment upgrades and maintenance to improve productivity
• Suggests material handling/technology upgrades
• Responsible for building security and contents
• Manages WMS for process compliance and accurate material consumption
• Experience with SAP EWM preferred
• Follows GMP and ISO regulations
• Observes all safety rules and uses safety equipment
• Performs other duties as necessary

We are seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for our First Quality Home Care Products, LLC company located in Salt Lake City, UT. This position will be responsible for overseeing all plant-level materials planning, production scheduling, inventory control, and finished goods deployment. This role ensures alignment between production, supply chain, and distribution to meet operational targets, minimize waste, and maintain optimal inventory levels.

The position provides leadership to a team managing Finished Goods and Raw Materials functions and plays a key role in operational efficiency and cost control.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Establishes operational procedures for activities such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of materials, and keeping the warehouse inventory current.
• Works with department managers to ensure coordination of warehouse activities with activities of other functions such as production, customer service, production planning, quality assurance, and purchasing.
• Supervises activities being conducted and stimulate maximum efficiency and productivity during all shifts.
• Hires and releases warehouse personnel as required to maintain an efficient warehouse and shipping operation.
• Responsible for employee relations, personnel training programs, discipline, and appraisals.
• Maintains team member payroll and absenteeism reports.
• Generates warehouse productivity reports, accounts for all labor hours and adheres to budget requirements while working toward goals and objectives.
• Performs internal and external warehouse audits to ensure proper inventory controls are in place and regulatory compliance is maintained.
• Directs all Finish Goods inventories, Raw Materials inventories, salvage, and disposition of damaged or rework material.
• Coordinates all truck driver flow, in and out of the facility.
• Recommends equipment requirements, replacements, and preventative maintenance programs to management in order to upgrade and improve upon warehouse productivity and efficiency.
• Suggests material handling and technology upgrades.
• Responsible for security of the building and its contents.
• Effectively manages the WMS to ensure process compliance and accurate material consumption
• Experience with SAP EWM preferred
• Observes all safety rules and uses the proper safety equipment at all times.
• Performs other duties as necessary when directed to do so.
• Follows necessary GMP, and ISO regulations.
