Job summary

CAREERXCHANGE®, Inc. is seeking an experienced Hands-On Warehouse Manager to lead daily operations at a busy Pompano Beach location. You will stay on the floor, supervise a small team, and ensure inventory moves smoothly while maintaining safety and accuracy.

This on-site role requires a hands-on leader who can organize, coach, and coordinate shifts, with a focus on throughput during peak periods and high-volume days.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of warehouse experience
• Previous warehouse leadership or management experience preferred
• Experience in a high-volume distribution environment
• Forklift experience required; certification a plus
• Experience using RF scanners and inventory systems
• Basic computer skills (email, order processing)
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to lead and motivate a small warehouse team
• Must be willing to work on-site in Pompano Beach

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations and workflow
• Manage shipping, receiving, stocking, inventory control, and order fulfillment
• Ensure orders are picked and prepared accurately and efficiently
• Oversee loading, unloading, and product placement
• Perform cycle counts and investigate inventory discrepancies
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse
• Support customer pickups and ensure orders are ready
• Supervise a warehouse team of 3–8 employees
• Coordinate daily assignments and staff scheduling
• Train, coach, and support team members
• Set expectations for productivity, safety, and service
• Lead during high-volume and peak seasons
• Lead from the front and pitch in where needed
• Maintain inventory movement and product placement
• Use RF scanners to process and track products
• Monitor order accuracy and resolve discrepancies
• Coordinate with store leadership and internal departments

Hands-On Warehouse Leadership Opportunity

We are conducting a confidential search for an experienced, hands-on Warehouse Manager to lead daily operations for a busy distribution location in Pompano Beach.

This is an excellent opportunity for a warehouse professional who enjoys being on the floor, leading a team, keeping inventory moving, and making sure operations run efficiently. The environment is fast-paced and high-volume, so we’re looking for someone who is organized, dependable, proactive, and ready to take ownership.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

Warehouse Operations

• Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations and workflow
• Manage shipping, receiving, stocking, inventory control, and order fulfillment
• Ensure orders are picked and prepared accurately and efficiently
• Oversee proper loading, unloading, and product placement
• Perform cycle counts and investigate inventory discrepancies
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse
• Support customer pickups and ensure orders are ready when needed
• Supervise a warehouse team of approximately 3–8 employees
• Coordinate daily assignments and staff scheduling
• Train, coach, and support warehouse team members
• Set clear expectations for productivity, accuracy, safety, and service
• Keep the team organized during high-volume and peak-season periods
• Lead from the front and step in wherever needed

Inventory & Order Management

• Maintain accurate inventory movement and product placement
• Use RF scanners and inventory systems to process and track products
• Monitor order accuracy and help resolve discrepancies
• Work closely with store leadership and internal departments to coordinate customer orders
• Support efficient receiving and restocking processes

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years of warehouse experience
• Previous warehouse leadership, supervisory, or management experience strongly preferred
• Experience working in a distribution, wholesale, parts, equipment, retail warehouse, or similar high-volume environment
• Forklift experience required; certification is a plus
• Experience using RF scanners / scan guns
• Basic computer skills, including email, inventory systems, and order processing
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to lead and motivate a small warehouse team
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs. regularly
• Must be willing to work alternating Saturdays
• Flexibility to work extended hours during peak season, particularly during summer months
• Must be able to work 100% on-site in Pompano Beach
