Job summary

Meijer in Pleasant Prairie, WI is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily shipping and receiving operations at our distribution center. You will plan staffing, assign tasks, monitor safety, and drive productivity while ensuring quality and inventory accuracy.

You will develop teams, coach staff, manage performance, and partner with union representatives where applicable. A Bachelor's in supply chain or related field plus 3+ years of warehouse leadership helps you succeed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of leadership and/or warehouse management experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent verbal and written communication; strong conflict resolution and performance management skills.

Responsibilities

• Interviews, trains, develops and maintains staffing levels to meet daily goals.
• Identify high-potential team members for leadership development and succession planning.
• Foster positive relationships with team members and union representatives to promote satisfaction and retention.
• Establish and monitor DC scorecard metrics; use data to drive process improvements.
• Coach teams to achieve performance, quality, cost and service targets; ensure safe operation of material handling equipment.
• Address team concerns and lead investigations; apply disciplinary action when needed.
• Track performance metrics and provide retraining as required; undertake ongoing process evaluation.

Deliver coaching, retraining and disciplinary action to team members as necessary.* Responsibility for continuous evaluation of warehouse processes.
