Job summary

Georgia-Pacific is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for our Northeast Arkansas manufacturing operations. You will lead a team of about 20 hourly warehouse associates to ensure on-time, accurate delivery to internal and external customers.

This role requires frontline leadership, directing shipping and receiving, upholding safety and housekeeping standards, and driving continuous improvement. Weekend night shifts (Fri–Sun, 5:00 PM–5:00 AM) are required, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

  • Experience as supervisor/manager in manufacturing, logistics, warehousing or industrial settings.
  • Willing to work any shift, weekends, holidays and overtime as needed.
  • Experience with warehouse and labor management systems; SAP.

Responsibilities

  • Provide vision and leadership to the team.
  • Plan and direct shipping and receiving to meet schedules.
  • Ensure safety and housekeeping standards.
  • Troubleshoot issues and develop training for team.
  • Drive continuous improvement and action plans for gaps.
  • Review trends for key performance metrics.
  • Coach and develop team; administer performance feedback.
  • Allocate tasks and resources to meet priorities.
  • Ensure compliance with policies and labor agreements.
  • Maintain quality and accuracy in daily operations.

Your Job

Georgia-Pacific is currently seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for our Northeast Arkansas manufacturing operations. This individual will provide frontline leadership and support to a team of roughly 20 hourly warehouse associates who collaborate to ensure timeline and accurate delivery of product to our internal and external customers.

Schedule

Friday–Sunday, 5:00 PM–5:00 AM (12-hour night shifts)

Our Team

Georgia-Pacific Northeast Arkansas facilities produce plastic packaging products under the Anchor Packaging name. These 3 locations employee ~900 individuals dedicated to applying innovative processes to produce high-quality rigid containers and cling film for the food service industry.

What You Will Do
  • Provide vision and leadership to all team members.
  • Plan and direct all shipping and receiving daily to ensure shipping schedules and targets are met.
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety and housekeeping requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues, provide training and facilitate team development.
  • Manage continuous improvement opportunities and provide leadership/action plans for gap closure.
  • Review and analyze trends for key performance measures.
  • Coach, counsel and develop team members. Ensure timely feedback. Administer performance management.
  • Allocate human resources to tasks, roles, and responsibilities.
  • Ensure team compliance with policies, procedures, compliance standards, regulatory requirements and the labor agreement.
  • Ensure that quality and accuracy expectations are followed and met on a daily basis.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
  • Supervisor or Management experience in a manufacturing, logistics, shipping, warehouse, or industrial environment.
  • Willing and able to work any shift, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
What Will Put You Ahead
  • Experience with Warehouse and Labor management systems.
  • Experience using SAP.
