Job summary

Flex is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor in Orangeburg, South Carolina to oversee receiving, storage and line replenishment of raw materials and maintain inventory records. Shift 1st: 7:00am – 3:30pm, Monday–Friday, reporting to the Warehouse Manager.

The ideal candidate has an Associate degree or equivalent, 5 years of supervisor experience, 5 years in warehouse logistics, and familiarity with BaaN MRP and Kronos. Proficiency in MS Office is a plus; forklift experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of supervisor experience.
• 5+ years in warehouse logistics.
• Experience on high-speed production lines.
• Experience with BaaN MRP and Kronos.
• MS Office knowledge; Excel/PowerPoint preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Inventory cycle counting experience.
• Ability to define problems, collect data and draw valid conclusions.
• Capable of guiding major site initiatives.
• Judgment in navigating ambiguously defined procedures and facilitating team resolutions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the receiving and distribution of goods.
• Ensure orders filled accurately and efficiently.
• Perform QA checks on all products received before stocking or distributing.
• Maintain proper stock levels within the warehouse.
• Maintain files on all equipment.
• Identify skills needed within the team and develop them.
• Conduct routine inventory counts.
• Order necessary equipment.
• Ensure WIP locations are stocked.
• Maintain a safe, neat, and efficient warehouse environment.
• Escalate issues and generate stockroom reports.

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager the Warehouse Supervisor will oversee a wide variety of warehouse activities including receiving, storage and line replenishment of raw materials and maintaining inventory and associated records.

Shift 1st: 7:00am – 3:30pm Monday- Friday

What a typical day looks like:

• Oversee the receiving and distribution of goods.
• Ensure orders delivered are accurately and efficiently filled.
• Performs quality assurance checks on all products received before stocking or distributing goods.
• Maintains proper levels of stock within warehouse to ensure maximum profitability
• Maintains files on all equipment.
• Identifies skills needed within team and works with team to achieve them.
• Conducts routine and periodic inventory counts on warehouse
• Responsible for ordering necessary equipment.
• Ensures WIP locations are adequately and routinely stocked.
• Ensure warehouse is maintained in an efficient, neat and safe manner.
• Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of warehouse
• Escalation and may have stockroom reports

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• Associate degree or equivalent experience
• 5 years Supervisor experience
• 5 years’ experience in Warehouse Logistic
• Warehouse experience for high-speed production lines
• Experience of BaaN MRP including Kronos
• MS Office Knowledge and (Excel PowerPoint preferred)
• Good Communication Skills (Written and Verbal) interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
• Forklift Experience (preferred)
• Inventory Cycle Counting experience
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
• Capable in guiding a major initiative that impacts the site.
• Exercises judgment using ambiguously defined procedures and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Facilitates team in making group resolutions.
