Job summary

ZL Chemicals USA is seeking an additional hands‑on Warehouse Supervisor to join our warehouse leadership team in Odessa, Texas. This role will work alongside another Supervisor to coordinate daily warehouse activities supporting chemical production and distribution.

You will lead warehouse employees, coordinate shipping and receiving, maintain inventory accuracy, promote safe work practices, and ensure orders are completed accurately and on time.

Qualifications

  • At least three years of warehouse, logistics, production, or industrial experience.
  • At least one year of team‑lead or supervisory experience.
  • Experience with shipping, receiving, inventory control, and material handling.
  • Knowledge of warehouse safety and hazardous‑material handling practices.
  • Experience operating or supervising forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with another supervisor and share operational responsibilities.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work overtime or weekends when operationally required.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily warehouse operations with the existing Warehouse Supervisor.
  • Supervise shipping, receiving, product storage, inventory, and material‑handling activities.
  • Assign daily work, coordinate workloads, and monitor employee performance.
  • Ensure products are properly received, labeled, stored, staged, and shipped.
  • Verify shipments against bills of lading, purchase orders, and shipping documents.
  • Conduct cycle counts and investigate inventory discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate inventory, lot, and batch records in the ERP or warehouse system.
  • Enforce safety procedures and the proper use of PPE.
  • Conduct safety meetings, inspections, and equipment checks.
  • Ensure chemicals and hazardous materials are handled and stored safely.
  • Report and assist with investigating spills, incidents, equipment damage, and unsafe conditions.
  • Coordinate the safe use of forklifts, pumps, blenders, ISO containers, trucks, and other equipment.
  • Report equipment problems and coordinate required maintenance.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse.
  • Train and coach warehouse employees on safety and operating procedures.
  • Monitor productivity, inventory accuracy, safety, and on‑time shipments.
  • Support continuous‑improvement and quality‑control initiatives.
  • Serve as a warehouse leader when the Warehouse Manager is unavailable.

Position Summary

ZL Chemicals USA is seeking an additional hands‑on Warehouse Supervisor to join our existing warehouse leadership team. This position will work alongside another Warehouse Supervisor to coordinate daily warehouse activities supporting chemical production and distribution.   • Associate or bachelor’s degree in operations, supply chain, business, or a related field.
Physical and Working Requirements
  • Ability to work in warehouse, yard, and chemical‑manufacturing environments.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to bend, climb, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to work around chemicals, vehicles, and industrial equipment.
  • Ability to wear all required personal protective equipment.
