Job summary

MRC Global is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee safe and efficient warehouse and delivery operations at the Augusta, GA location. This role supports the Warehouse Manager in staff coordination and ensuring high service levels for both internal and external customers.

The ideal candidate will have warehouse knowledge, forklift certification, a valid driver’s license, and strong computer and communication skills to drive accuracy and timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations and safety policies.
• Must have a current, valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to operate and become certified in forklifts and related equipment.
• Proficient with computers and warehouse software.
• Strong communication and leadership skills to supervise staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist Warehouse Manager in hiring, scheduling, training, and evaluating staff.
• Coordinate internal activities of the warehouse and trucking personnel.
• Ensure timely deliveries and communication with sales office and customers.
• Verify materials meet specifications, codes, and contractual requirements.
• Perform warehouse and truck driver duties as needed and participate in delivery runs.
• Maintain safety, pricing, and confidentiality of information.
