Lansing Building Products is seeking a Warehouse Lead in Nashville, TN to support daily warehouse operations and team leadership. The role requires forklift operation, inventory control, and ensuring accurate shipments.

You will assist the Warehouse Manager, coordinate loading/unloading crews, and uphold safety and efficiency standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of material-handling experience.
• Prior warehouse management experience preferred.
• Forklift certification and box truck driving experience preferred.
• Ability to lead a team and work with customers.
• Ability to lift materials weighing 70+ lbs.

Responsibilities

• Support inventory control and cycle counts.
• Manage loading/unloading of exterior building products.
• Coordinate shipments to ensure on-time and accurate deliveries.
• Work with warehouse associates on loading/unloading trucks.
• Verify orders picked and shipments received.
• Operate forklift safely and efficiently.
• Keep the warehouse clean and orderly.

Responsibilities:

Live our mission statement centered on our values of respect, service, and excellence

Assists the Warehouse Manager with daily warehouse operations including personnel

Assists with aspects of warehouse inventory control

Manages the loading and unloading of exterior building products such as siding, windows, and gutter

Coordinates shipments to ensure deliveries are on time and accurate

Works alongside warehouse associates in loading/unloading trucks

Assists with daily cycle counts for inventory accuracy

Verifies accuracy of orders picked and shipments received

Knows how to operate a forklift safely and efficiently

Keeps warehouse clean and orderly

Qualifications:

Prior warehouse management experience (preferred)

3+ years of previous material-handling experience

Forklift certification and experience driving a box truck (preferred)

Ability toleada team and/orwork one-on-one with our customers

Ability and willingness to lift boxes and specific building materials weighing as much as 70+ lbs

Ability towork successfully under the pressure of deadlines and to accept new ways of doing business
