Job summary

ALPLA Group is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to organize and lead a team in our Arkansas facility. You will manage inventory, ensure accurate shipments, and uphold safety standards in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in warehousing with supervisory experience, a forklift certification, and solid computer skills. This role emphasizes efficiency, training, and adherence to company policies and OSHA guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Associates degree or equivalent preferred.
  • 3-5 years warehousing/supply management experience preferred.
  • Supervisory experience required, preferably in Warehousing.
  • Certified forklift driver and/or trainer.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Safety and quality consciousness.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise warehouse associates and ensure the team works together efficiently.
  • Assess training needs and implement training programs.
  • Oversee Pay by Skill program and staffing coverage for absenteeism/holidays.
  • Maintain records of time and attendance and ensure policy compliance.
  • Direct shipping operations, organize inventory, and ensure accurate bills of lading.
  • Coordinate with transportation providers and schedule pickups/deliveries.

What Will You Enjoy Doing

  • Organizes the warehouse inventory with section chart and row count
  • Ensures received shipments into AlplaProd inventory system
  • Ensures inverse logistics for secondary packaging
  • Ensures correct shipments
  • Monitors shipments to ensure timely receipt, ascertain any damages, and verify correct quantity
  • Prepares correct Bill of Ladings
  • Ensures TMS (Transport Management System) usage and compliance for carrier selection and communication
  • Schedules pickup, deliveries, and repairs for vendors to ensure a smooth operating warehouse (i.e., waste, fuel, forklift, equipment, etc.)
  • Leading the Team
  • Supervises warehouse associates and ensures the team works together as efficiently as possible
  • Assesses training needs of staff and ensures execution of training
  • Ensures the Pay by Skill program implementation and adherence
  • Ensures staff are brought in to cover absenteeism and holidays
  • Correctly records time and attendance of teamEnsures all employees understand and follow company policies and procedures
  • Keeps a clean and safe work environment, following all company procedures and guidelines outlined by OSHA
  • Identifies unsafe behaviors and unsafe conditions and leads risk assessments
  • Communicates with customers as needed
  • Others described in their standard work

What Makes You Great

  • 2 year Degree (Associates) in related field or equivalent preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience in Warehousing/Supply Management preferred
  • Supervisory experience required, preferably in Warehousing
  • Certified Fork Lift Driver and/or Trainer
  • Basic computer skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Safety awareness and quality consciousness
