Standard Sales Company, L.P. is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee warehouse staff, ensure accurate order fulfillment, and support delivery operations across our markets in Texas, Mississippi, and Kentucky.

The role emphasizes safety, policy adherence, and efficient warehouse processes. Responsibilities include staff training, performance evaluation, inventory control, and collaboration with drivers and sales teams to meet daily targets while maintaining regulatory compliance and quality

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred for advancement.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays.
• Experience in warehouse operations and supervising staff.

Responsibilities

• Supervise warehouse team members and monitor performance.
• Train staff in loading, packing and safety procedures.
• Ensure accurate order picking and loading of delivery vehicles.

JOB TITLE:

Warehouse Supervisor

SUMMARY:

Responsible for the supervision of assigned warehouse personnel, fulfillment of sales orders, accurate loading of delivery vehicles, ability to operate essential route accounting, warehouse management and delivery software.

JOB DUTIES:

• Supervise warehouse team member performance and execution
• Train and oversee the development of employees in the warehouse loading department
• Evaluate performance and counsel deficiencies
• Ensure team members follow company policies, safety rules, state and federal laws
• Responsible for verification of orders being built and the accurate loading of delivery vehicles
• Follow company policies and procedures regarding product freshness, rotation and handling of close to code products
• Ensure and maintain a safe work environment
• Monitor truck inventory for out of stocks and close to code product
• Follow all product handling procedures according to each retailers policy
• Execute delivery instructions from Driver, Sales Rep and District Manager
• Merchandise displays and organize inventory storage areas
• Stock retail shelves according to current shelf schematic
• Ensure proper care, maintenance and safe operation of all company vehicles and equipment
• Repair and repackage damaged goods
• Ability to effectively communicate and work with other team members
• Maintain a clean work place including tractor, trailer and designated areas at retail
• Meets warehouse financial standards by providing annual budget information; monitoring expenditures; identifying variances; implementing corrective actions.
• Keeps equipment operating by enforcing operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns and requiring preventative maintenance
• Determine staffing levels and assign workload
• Interface with customers to answer questions or solve problems
• Communicate and coordinate activities with other departments
• Motivate employees to achieve peak productivity and performance
• Monitor payroll on a daily basis
• Perform all other duties as assigned

COMPETENCIES:

• Experience in warehouse operations
• Supervisory skills
• Direct experience in wholesale beer distribution and/or brewer/supplier operations
• Good communication skills and ability to partner and collaborate effectively with others
• Time management skills
• Knowledge of iPad/Computer applications and operations

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including some nights, weekends and holidays
• Ability to work and drive positive results in a fast-paced, team environment
• A team player with a readiness to communicate often and effectively
• Ability to use the companys policies and procedures to guide business decisions and behaviors

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to move products weighing up to 165 lbs.
• Hang merchandise as needed
• Repetitive lifting, up to 50 lbs. overhead
• Bending, pulling/pushing up to 340 pounds on a two-wheeler
• Ability to continuously stand or walk
• Ability to bend and occasionally squat
• Occasional carrying and reaching
