Harrington in Las Vegas, NV seeks a Warehouse Supervisor to lead a small team, manage day-to-day warehouse operations, and ensure secure, compliant handling of goods. You will supervise associates, schedule work, and back up delivery drivers as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and a driving record acceptable to the company's insurance carrier.
• Must frequently lift and move 20 pounds, occasionally up to 75 pounds.
• High school diploma or equivalent or at least one year of warehouse experience managing hourly employees.
• Proficiency with warehouse policies and procedures.
• Strong problem-solving and leadership skills, the ability to collaborate with all levels of staff.
• The ability to provide effective feedback.
• Forklift driving experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of three or less warehouse/driver associates; participates in hiring and evaluations; approves timecards and schedules.
• Ensure warehouse security, maintain equipment and vehicles, and ensure safe use.
• Follow federal, state, and local regulations for warehousing, shipping, and material handling.
• Create systems for organization and communication; ensure efficient space utilization.
• Maintain health and safety standards and safety training certifications.
• Read customer orders to determine items to be gathered and distributed.
• Convey materials from receiving areas to storage areas; sort and place materials.
• Assemble customer orders; place orders on pallets or boxes; prepare for delivery.
• Record materials received/distributed; perform data entry; complete requisitions.
• Prepare parcels; perform inventory counts; maintain records.
• Act as back-up when delivery driver is unavailable.

What You'll Do

• Ensuring the warehouse is secure, maintaining equipment and vehicles, and ensuring their safe use.
• Following federal, state, and local regulations for warehousing, shipping, and material handling.

• Maintaining health and safety standards, safety training certifications and ensuring the safety of staff.Read customer orders to determine items to be gathered and distributed.
• Convey materials and items from receiving areas to storage areas.Sort and place materials or items on racks or other storage areas according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or in boxes. Convey orders to staging areas and/or onto trucks for delivery.
• Mark materials with identifying information.Record amount of materials or items received and distributed.Perform data entry of records into the computer.
• Complete requisition forms to order materials from other company locations.Prepare parcels for mail.Perform physical counts of existing inventory and maintains inventory records.
• Act as back-up when delivery driver is unavailable.
