Job summary

Thrive Pet Healthcare is seeking a compassionate Warehouse Supervisor for Hearts & Halos In-Home Euthanasia to oversee crematorium operations and aftercare processes in Huntington Beach, CA. You will manage records, safety, and logistics while supporting sensitive pet care duties.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, reliable time management, and strong communication skills. Expect a 4:00 pm–12:30 am schedule, with potential for overtime and weekend shifts as needed.

Qualifications

  • Candidate must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Excellent time management and attention to detail required.
  • Accurate, organized paperwork and documentation.
  • Demonstrated integrity, ethics and compassion for care of deceased pets.
  • Able to operate basic tech equipment and adapt to new tools.
  • Willingness to work extended hours, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Description

Hearts & Halos In-Home Euthanasia practice is looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to join our team. Candidates must be compassionate, respectful, detail-oriented and comfortable working and handling aquamation equipment and deceased pets. The aquamation assistant is responsible for all aspects of the aftercare process, including, but not limited to: operating & maintaining the equipment, driving to and from hospitals and aftercare facility, cleaning the crematorium, following safety protocols, planning and executing aquamation operations and ensuring all company standard practices and procedures are followed.

Compensation: $23.00/hr

Schedule: 4:00 pm -12:30 am Sunday through Thursday

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Maintain and operate all aspects of the crematorium, including cleaning
  • Thorough record keeping for a smooth aftercare process from beginning to end
  • Driving to and from hospitals and aftercare facility
  • Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills
  • Driving is required for this position, candidate must have a valid drivers license and a good driving record
  • Self-motivated with excellent time management
  • Detail-oriented - focus on completing assigned tasks in a competent and thorough manner
  • All documentation/paperwork must be accurate, organized and legible
  • Required high level of integrity, ethics and compassion for care of deceased pets
  • Must be familiar with basic technological equipment
  • Ability to work extended hours, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
  • Must be a team player with strong verbal, written, and communication skills
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to lift approximately 100lbs+, and be able to bend, twist as needed throughout shift
  • Must adhere to all company policies, procedures, and established safety guidelines
Desired Experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to understand written and spoken English; Bilingual is a plus
  • Experience in the death care industry a plus, but not required
