Job summary

Sanmina Corporation is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor in Houston to lead day-to-day receiving, warehousing, inventory control, material movement, and finished-goods shipping in support of electromechanical production. You will verify transactions in the ERP system and ensure accuracy across all warehouse processes.

The role requires 3–5+ years in warehousing and 1–3+ years in supervision, with hands-on ERP data entry in SAP/Oracle/ERP platforms.

Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years of warehouse, shipping/receiving, inventory control, or materials experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • 1–3+ years of supervisory or team-lead experience preferred.
  • Hands-on experience entering receiving, inventory, and shipping transactions into an ERP system is required.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Epicor, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of inventory control, cycle counting, material traceability, and warehouse processes.

Responsibilities

  • Receive raw materials, purchased components, hardware, electrical components, packaging materials, and other production supplies.
  • Verify incoming materials against purchase orders, packing slips, quantities, part numbers, and applicable specifications.
  • Enter all material receipts accurately and promptly into the ERP system.
  • Identify and resolve receiving discrepancies, shortages, overages, damaged materials, and incorrect shipments.
  • Coordinate with Quality when incoming inspection or material disposition is required.
  • Ensure proper material identification, labeling, traceability, and storage location assignment.
  • Maintain accurate physical and ERP inventory records.
  • Ensure materials are properly stored, identified, and available to support the production schedule.
  • Execute inventory transfers and other required warehouse transactions in the ERP system.
  • Conduct cycle counts and support physical inventories.
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain FIFO or other applicable inventory-control practices.
  • Coordinate material movement between receiving, warehouse, production, and shipping areas.
  • Coordinate finished-goods staging, packing, labeling, and shipment according to customer requirements.
  • Verify finished goods against sales orders, shipping documentation, quantities, and part numbers.
  • Complete finished-goods shipment transactions in the ERP system accurately and on time.
  • Prepare or verify packing lists, bills of lading, shipping labels, and other required documentation.
  • Coordinate pickups and deliveries with carriers and logistics providers.
  • Ensure finished goods are packaged and handled appropriately to prevent transportation damage.
  • Supervise warehouse, material handling, receiving, and shipping personnel.
  • Assign daily work and establish priorities based on production and shipping requirements.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and efficient warehouse using 5S and Lean principles.
  • Ensure compliance with company safety procedures and material-handling requirements.
  • Monitor warehouse productivity and identify opportunities to improve material flow, space utilization, and labor efficiency.
  • Train employees on ERP transactions, inventory procedures, material handling, and shipping/receiving processes.
  • Collaborate closely with Production, Planning, Procurement, Quality, Customer Service, and Finance.

Warehouse Supervisor
Job Purpose

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operation of receiving, warehousing, inventory control, material movement, and finished-goods shipping supporting the manufacture of electromechanical components. This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for ensuring that all incoming materials and outgoing finished goods are physically verified and accurately transacted in the ERP system. The Warehouse Supervisor will maintain inventory accuracy, material traceability, warehouse organization, and timely movement of materials while supporting production and customer delivery requirements.

Nature Of Duties
Receiving & ERP Transactions

  • Forklift/material-handling equipment experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to transactional and inventory accuracy.
