Job summary

Lineage is seeking a hands-on operations leader to drive daily warehouse and production activities on 2nd shift in Georgia. You will supervise teams, optimize processes, and develop talent while meeting safety, quality, and productivity targets.

In this high-visibility role you’ll coordinate production schedules, manage shipments, and implement continuous improvement initiatives with Operations leadership. Lineage values teamwork, safety, and delivering results.

Qualifications

• 2 years warehouse or logistics leadership experience
• Experience with Warehouse Management System (WMS)
• Strong conflict management skills
• Able to work in -20F/-25C cold storage or up to 100F/37C dry storage with PPE
• Must be able to lift 40 lbs or more
• Able to work a flexible schedule including weekends
• Comfortable with varying noise levels

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, provide performance feedback and assign duties of direct reports to ensure productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness
• Manage incoming/outgoing shipments and organize merchandise, maintain warehouse inventory
• Plan production schedules and allocate resources to complete jobs while tracking time and production records
• Track and send reports to designated plant personnel
• Track warehouse activities including sales, record control, and purchasing to ensure product availability
• Work with machinery and material handling equipment
• Resolve employee issues and maintain open communication across all levels
• Perform assigned projects as instructed

Job description

Looking for a hands-on operations leader ready to make an impact from day one. This is a high-visibility opportunity at a newer, growing facility where you'll lead daily production operations, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and help develop the next generation of talent. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy leading teams to exceed goals, we'd love to connect. This will be 2nd shift, Monday through Friday 4:30pm to 1:20am.

Supervise the operations and responsibilities of the warehouse team and designated facility. Work with Operations leadership to make certain company and customer standards of service, quality, safety, and productivity are met.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage operational procedures to include the incoming and outgoing shipments, handle the organization of merchandise, and maintain warehouse inventory
• Plan production schedules and resource allocation for completion of job assignments while keeping time and production records

• Track warehouse activities including sales, record control, and purchasing to ensure availability of products

ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work with machinery and material handling equipment
• Resolve employee issues and maintain open lines of communication with all levels of the organization
• Perform assigned projects as instructed

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES)

• 2 years warehouse or logistics leadership experience
• Experience with Warehouse Management System (WMS)
• Strong conflict management skills
• Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius in cold storage sites or up to 100 Fahrenheit/37 Celsius in dry storage sites while wearing company provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs.; weight may be more dependent upon facility
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed
• Must be comfortable with various noise levels, at times, can be loud
