Job summary

Nortek Data Center Cooling is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to coordinate daily warehouse activities and lead material handlers. You will ensure safety, quality, and timely shipments while aligning with production needs and logistics plans.

The role requires hands-on leadership, familiarity with ERP systems, and strong problem-solving and communication skills to drive efficiency in a fast-paced data-center equipment environment.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years in warehouse, logistics, or distribution operations.
• Experience leading or supervising warehouse personnel.
• Bachelor's or associate degree preferred.
• Experience with ERP and inventory management systems.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Job Summary

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and overseeing daily warehouse. This role works closely with Operations, Production, and Logistics teams to support completion schedules and shipping plans that meet customer delivery requirements. The Warehouse Supervisor provides day‑to‑day leadership for material handlers while ensuring safety, quality, and operational efficiency remain top priorities. This position will require an active role in ensuring your team, work area, and fellow team employees maintain a safe work environment through active daily engagement. What You’ll Do

• Maintains a safe working environment in all facets related to warehouse.
• Receiving and put away.
• Actively interacts with supervisors and managers to closely monitor build status and and support receiving department.
• Coordinates crating / packaging needs for component orders (Parts or Internal Orders).
• Utilizes ERP system (Syteline CSI) to update inventory transactions of received raw inventory through storage locations.
• Manages and tracks KPIs and costs.
• Develop and implement cost savings measures while maintaining material flow throughout the facility.
• Maintains a well‑organised work environment and tracks material transactions from receiving throughout the warehouse.
• Successfully completion of training and competency test is required for the following internal certifications: Overhead Bridge Crane Operation, Forklift, Scissor lift, and Reach Stacker.
• Other duties as assigned by the manager.

What You Bring

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or distribution operations.
• Previous experience leading or supervising warehouse personnel preferred.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related field preferred.
• Experience operating material handling equipment, including forklifts and overhead cranes.
• Working knowledge of safe rigging, lifting, and crane operation practices.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Experience working with ERP and inventory management systems.
• Strong organizational, time management, and problem‑solving skills.
• Demonstrated leadership ability with experience coaching and motivating employees.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across departments.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and maintain a high level of accuracy in a fast‑paced environment.
• Customer‑focused mindset with a commitment to service, quality, and timely execution.
• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, and warehouse best practices preferred.
• Ability to effectively communicate with employees, management, customers, and external logistics partners.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve performance goals related to safety, productivity, quality, and customer service.
