Albertsons Companies invites you to join as a Warehouse Supervisor at the Acme Distribution Center in Denver, PA. You will lead warehouse associates, ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment, and oversee daily operations.

The role requires strong leadership, knowledge of warehouse processes, and experience with WMS systems (Manhattan Associates preferred). You will train staff, monitor productivity, and maintain production records.

Main responsibilities:

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations and ensuring the safe, accurate, and efficient movement of products throughout the facility. This role leads the warehouse associates, monitors productivity and accuracy, and helps ensure customer orders are assembled and shipped correctly. This role is based at the Acme Distribution Center in Denver, PA.

• Supervise the workforce in the accomplishment of day-to-day assignments
• Oversees pallet assembly to ensure stores receive the cases they ordered, on well-built pallets, and securely wrapped before being loaded onto trailers
• Resolves inventory discrepancies and issues credits to stores when appropriate
• Ensures steady workflow through the warehouse via routine spot checks on the progress of associates and adjusts manpower to increase efficiency
• Maintain daily production and accuracy records
• Develop productive associates through training, coaching, and disciplining, when necessary, to achieve company goals and objectives

We are looking for candidates who possess the following:

• Strong understanding of warehouse and distribution operations, with previous experience in a lead, coordinator, or supervisory role preferred.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop team members while driving operational results.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to interpret operational reports and performance metrics.
• Strong analytical and organizational abilities, with the capacity to manage administrative responsibilities, prioritize tasks, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer proficiency required, including experience with Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel.
• Experience utilizing Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), preferably Manhattan Associates WMS.
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment with exposure to equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and automated material-handling systems.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced operation with changing priorities and deadlines.
• Ability to work in temperature-controlled environments ranging from ambient conditions to approximately 28°F (-2°C).
• Capable of performing the physical demands of the role, including frequent walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, squatting, and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds.
