Job summary

SHL Medical is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor in Deerfield Beach, FL to oversee daily warehouse operations, ensure accurate ERP transactions, and manage receiving, storage, staging, picking, and shipping in support of production and customer requirements, all in compliance with GMP, FDA, and ISO13485.

You will lead a diverse team, participate in production meetings, coordinate scrap handling with inventory and logistics, and ensure documentation accuracy while maintaining safety and company

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or associate degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of warehousing experience in a regulated environment.
• Experience with ERP programs; SAP preferred.
• Strong leadership and ability to manage a diverse team.
• Extensive knowledge of pharma warehouse operations.
• Proficiency in MS Office.

• Review time sheets and attendance, communicating concerns.
• Participate in performance evaluations for Material Handlers.

• Oversee receiving, put-away, picking, staging, and shipping.
• Participate in production meetings to ensure warehouse readiness.
• Coordinate scrap handling and outbound shipments with inventory/logistics.
• Assist warehouse during absences by covering staging.

Job Overview

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for verifying ERP inventory transactions completion of the receiving, storing, transferring, issuing, and shipping of materials and finished product. Including the coordination and completion of the materials scrapping process. Following and enforcing safety and company policies including all the applicable regulations (GMP – Good Manufacturing Practices, FDA – Federal Drug Administration, ISO13485 among others).

Main Responsibilities

• Supervises daily activities of warehouse team members, including participation in hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, and performance development.
• Supports disciplinary actions in alignment with HR and the Warehouse Manager.
• Reviews and approves Material Handlers’ time sheets and communicates attendance or policy concerns to the Warehouse Manager.
• Participates in performance evaluations for Material Handlers.
• Ensures warehouse operations are executed in compliance with regulations, quality work instructions, and company policies.
• Oversees material receiving, put‑away, picking, staging, and shipping activities to support production and customer requirements.
• Participate in production meetings to ensure warehouse readiness for scheduled jobs.
• Collaborate with inventory and logistics management by coordinating physical scrap handling and outbound shipments, ensuring documentation accuracy.
• Supports material staging when the Warehouse Lead or designated personnel are unavailable.

Skills and Qualification

• Bachelor’s or associate degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of operations or warehousing experience in a regulated environment.
• Experience working with ERP programs.
• Prior SAP system preferred.
• Strong history of working in a demanding environment while abiding by processes and protocols.
• Extensive knowledge of warehouse operations in the pharma industry.
• Ability to kindly lead a diverse team of employees with self-control and respect.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools
