A leading company in the warehousing industry is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily operations at their Crawfordsville facility. Responsibilities include managing inventory, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, and leading a team of warehouse attendants. This role requires strong leadership and problem-solving skills, alongside a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards and effective communication within the team.
I. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The principal challenge for this position is to supervise the day-to-day warehousing activities utilizing OPEX principles, specifically, level pull, quality systems, safety protocols, and problem-solving skills, while maintaining accurate inventories and meeting both internal and external delivery and service requirements. The coordination of all related activities for the warehousing of all closures and raw materials is very critical in this position. Another key challenge involves constant communication and coordination between transportation, customer support, production, and scheduling. Ensuring level warehouse flow for both incoming and outgoing shipments is vital. The incumbent is required to adhere to CSI's import/export compliance policy and attend related training. They will perform all principal challenges and processes of the Warehouse.
Additional responsibilities include updating ship logs, managing transportation orders, system inventory transfers, physical counts, handling customer returns and vendor receipts, ensuring product quality, FIFO adherence, collaboration with production planning, recall tracking, scrap processing, and other daily tasks as assigned.
This position supervises Warehouse Attendants (CDL and non-CDL) and is responsible for staff scheduling, goal setting, training, and performance measurement.
