Job summary

Arcadia Cold Storage and Logistics in College Park, GA is seeking a Warehouse Manager to plan, assign, and direct activities inside our cold storage facility, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

You will recruit, train, and retain the warehouse team, lead by our values of integrity and accountability, and strive to improve productivity while maintaining quality and compliance across operations.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent; advanced degree preferred.
• 4 years warehouse management experience or equivalent.
• Experience with Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Strong leadership, customer service, communications, and planning.
• Ability to solve problems and present information to customers, clients, and employees.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Position Overview And Purpose

This role plans, assigns, and directs activity within our cold storage facility in a safe and orderly fashion. This role will also be primarily responsible for the selection, training and retention of our warehouse team.

Essential Functions And Basic Duties

• Direct supervision of a team of warehouse employees, including assigning work, setting and attaining performance goals, and managing performance in accordance with organizational policies and operating standards.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required. Relevant advanced degree preferred.


• 4 years warehouse management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.


• Experience with Warehouse Management System (WMS)


• Strong leadership skills, with emphasis on guiding and developing a team, customer service, communications, and planning.


• Ability to solve problems and present information effectively to customers, clients, and employees.


• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.


• Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed.


• Ability to withstand cold storage temps for extended periods of time (warm gear provided by company).
