Qualifications

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and inventory management software.

Responsibilities

  • Schedules staff workload, establishes priorities, and assigns tasks based on workers, materials, and equipment availability.
  • Train, develop and monitor staff effectiveness, ensuring adherence to SOPs.
  • Ensures inventory levels are maintained by cycle counts and reporting inaccuracies.
  • Certifies orders are verified and accurately recorded; supervises delivery and quality checks.
  • Coordinates product returns for defective items or recalls; manages documentation.
  • Develops and implements improved chain-of-custody methods in supply operations.
  • Administers safety protocols and staff training to maintain a secure working environment and regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborates with other departments to address issues and maintain a cohesive team approach.

Responsibilities

This position is primarily responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our warehouse/shipping and receiving areas. This includes managing inventory, supervising warehouse staff, ensuring the timely and accurate shipment of goods, and maintaining a safe working environment.

  • Schedules staff workload, establishes priorities, and assigns tasks based on the availability or capability of workers, materials, and equipment.
  • Train, develop and monitor staff effectiveness, ensuring adherence to company policies and requirements established by applicable SOP.
  • Ensures inventory levels are adequately maintained by performing inventory cycle counts, monitoring for accuracy, and reporting/addressing findings.
  • Certifies that all orders are verified and accurately recorded.
  • Supervises the delivery of all materials and ensures inspection is performed for quality compliance.
  • Coordinates product returns for any defective items or those subject to recall.
  • Issues requisitions for materials, prepares reports, and maintains files and records receipt.
  • Develops and implements improved methods for chain of custody in supply operations.
  • Administer safety protocols and best practices to create a secure working environment, including training staff on safety procedures and the use of equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, including those related to safety, labor, and environmental standards.
  • Works closely with all other areas of the company to ensure a cohesive team approach is utilized to proactively address any issues.
Qualifications

Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

Related Experience:

  • Five years of experience in Warehouse/Logistics operations within a supply chain operations environment.
  • Including 1 year of experience in lead capacity.

Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of all departmental processes, and applicable SOPs.
  • Knowledge of a variety of software applications (Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Directly related experience with inventory management software programs.

Any combination of education, training, and experience equivalent to the requirements above that has supplied the necessary knowledge, skills, and experience to perform the essential functions of the job.

For applicants who will perform this position in New York City or Westchester County, the proposed annual salary is $70,000.00 p/yr. to $80,000.00 p/yr. For applicants who will perform this position outside of New York City or Westchester County, salary will reflect local market rates and be commensurate with the applicant’s skills, job-related knowledge, and experience.
