Job summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations within a dynamic logistics environment. Duties

• Supervise daily warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and material handling to ensure smooth operations.
• Coordinate and oversee the operation of forklifts and other heavy lifting equipment while adhering to OSHA safety regulations.
• Implement process improvements utilizing lean management principles to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
• Manage inventory control through accurate tracking using warehouse management systems and RF scanners.
• Oversee logistics functions related to 3PL providers, distribution center operations, and e-commerce fulfillment.
• Lead team management efforts by providing training, guidance, and performance feedback to warehouse staff.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, including OSHA regulations, and promote a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with shipping & receiving teams to ensure timely dispatches and deliveries.
• Utilize Microsoft Office tools for reporting, documentation, and communication purposes.
• Conduct regular audits of inventory levels and reconcile discrepancies using inventory management systems.

Skills

• Extensive experience in warehouse distribution, operations, and inventory management systems.
• Proven ability to lead teams effectively with strong managerial communication skills.
• Proficiency in forklift operation, materials handling equipment, and heavy lifting techniques.
• Strong knowledge of logistics processes including shipping & receiving, e-commerce fulfillment, and 3PL coordination.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) such as SAP or Oracle WMS.
• Ability to identify opportunities for process improvement using lean management strategies.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory control and documentation.
• Effective use of Microsoft Office applications for reporting and analysis.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards relevant to warehouse environments.
• Prior experience managing warehouse operations within a distribution center or similar setting is preferred.
• Strong team leadership capabilities with the ability to motivate staff and communicate effectively across departments.
