Job summary

Altium Packaging in Buena Park, CA is seeking a Warehouse Manager to supervise daily warehouse operations, oversee inventory, and maintain safety standards. Responsibilities include coordinating staff, scheduling, and ensuring efficient use of warehouse space; reporting to a manager; and driving on-time deliveries with customer service focus.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 5+ years in warehouse management, and experience with food-grade products.

Responsibilities

• Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
• Maintains physical condition of warehouse; inspects equipment; issues work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
• Works closely with customer service to ensure ample supply of raw materials and timely deliveries.
• Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciles with data storage system.
• Coordinates production, distribution, and warehousing in accordance with principles, policies, and established procedures.
• Complies with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements.
• Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees.
• Maintains warehouse staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
• Coaches, counsels and disciplines employees as well as planning, monitoring and appraising job results.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
