The Role

The Warehouse Supervisor is to help support the onsite Culinary or Marketplace Manager in handling day to day operations. This individual needs to be able to take the bull by the horns and lead the team to execute operational SOP’s both effectively and efficiently. This includes, but not limited to, handling receiving, inventory, storing and distributing all products within the Marketplace. In addition, this individual will be responsible for purchasing ingredients and scheduling staff.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate pallet jack to move pallets of product
  • Processes to focus on and implement:
    • Receiving
    • Inventory Counting
    • Ordering
    • Returns
    • Scheduling
  • Ensure the organization of dry storage, walk-ins, and freezers within the Marketplace
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by leaders
  • Help to maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized working environment
  • Enforcement of food safety standards and FIFO methods to ensure the freshness of food
Qualifications:
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends
  • 2-3 years of supervisory experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds without assistance
  • Be able to stand, walk, stoop, reach and lift for a minimum of 8 hours without any reasonable accommodations
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • High proficiency level of Spanish
  • Preference: Operating a pallet jack is helpful and ServSafe Certification
  • Sense of urgency
  • Attention to detail

Compensation All final pay rates will be determined by candidates experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Pay Range for this position $22 — $25 USD
