Job summary

Lansing Building Products is seeking a warehouse role focused on coordinating daily operations, loading/unloading building products, and ensuring on-time deliveries. You will support inventory accuracy, supervise or assist team members, and operate forklifts safely while handling heavy materials.

The position requires physical stamina, forklift certification, and strong customer service skills to meet deadlines and maintain a high level of service to customers and drivers.

Qualifications

• Prior warehouse management experience (preferred).
• 3+ years of material-handling experience.
• Forklift certification and experience driving a box truck (preferred).
• Ability and willingness to lift boxes and materials weighing 70+ lbs.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to work under deadlines and adapt to new processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist Warehouse Manager with daily warehouse operations and personnel.
• Manage loading and unloading of exterior building products (siding, windows, gutter).
• Coordinate shipments to ensure on-time and accurate deliveries.
• Work with warehouse staff on loading/unloading trucks.
• Assist with daily cycle counts for inventory accuracy.
• Operate forklift safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse environment.
