Job description

We are searching for a Warehouse Supervisor to join our growing team. This role will oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, direct and coordinate activities of warehouse employees.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Responsible for warehouse inventory control for the shift and continually seeks out improvements or best practices.
  • Responsible for routing for the next day's delivery tickets.
  • Determines staffing levels and assign workload.
  • The responsibility for ensuring shift is pulling and loading items for the next day delivery.
  • Measure and report on the effectiveness of warehousing activities and employee's performance to Warehouse Manager.
  • Responsible for sanitation and physical condition of warehouse, material handling equipment and rolling stock for the shift.
  • Responsible for the safety of employees and visitors during the night shift. Directs investigations of all accidents and recommends corrective action. Follows up to ensure that appropriate corrective action is taken.
  • Identify areas of improvement and establish innovative or adjust existing work procedures and practices.
  • Ensures compliance with all State, Federal, and Industry related administrative policies and procedures, safety rules as well as BradyPLUS policies/procedures.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 5+ years of warehouse/distribution experience required
  • 1+ years supervisory experience
  • Experience with ERP and Microsoft Applications
  • 21 years of age
  • Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to lift up to 50lbs.
  • Pre-Employment Screening: Ability to successfully pass job-related pre-employment screenings to include a criminal background check and drug test.
