This position is for the day shift with typical store hours between Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Saturday, 8:00 AM to 1:00PM, Closed Sunday.

Dulux, a PPC Company, is hiring immediately for the position of Part-Time Store Sales Associate. Reporting to the Store Manager, you will be the reason our customers come back! You will build important relationships with our contractors and customers every day. You will greet and assistBétonel/Dulux customers as they enter the retail store by listening and helping with their paint and supply needs.

Primary Responsibilities

• The position performs day-to-day warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, inventory control and general administrative functions.
• Ensure adequate stock levels of all products in the facilities and help maximize sales by efficiently receiving product deliveries, restocking the facility and shipping to customers.
• Ensure back room is organized to support receiving, storing and shipping of stock.
• Check incoming merchandise against bills of lading and invoice for accuracy.
• PPG provides training on how to operate machinery such as hand trucks, pallet jacks and forklifts. Once trained, must be able to operate with or without reasonable accommodation safely.
• Able to operate a computer and communicate via the telephone with or without accommodation.
• Ability to assist customers in person, via email, and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products and services.
• May be trained to make local delivery’s using company vehicle.
• Report to the Store Manager.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver’s license in the state of current residence with no restrictions and an acceptable driving record.
• Customer service skills with a team-oriented focus and stable job history.
• Available to work flexible retail hours including evenings, weekends, holidays, and possible overtime.
• We ask that you can stoop, kneel, crouch, lift and carry up to 80 pounds periodically and 50 pounds regularly.
