Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Stock Worker and Receiver to support warehouse operations. The role involves receiving, unloading, stocking, and assisting with order placement across stores and warehouses.

Ideal candidates have 0-1 year experience; a valid driver’s license may be needed and forklift certification could be required. Expect weekday morning shifts and full-time employment with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 0-1 year of related experience is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license may be required.
• Forklift operation certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Verify and record incoming and outgoing shipments and prepare items for shipment.
• Receive, lift, move, store, issue, and count items from requisitions or invoices.
• Process a wide variety of incoming freight and prioritize by urgency.
• Compare shipments to bills of lading, invoices and orders for accuracy.
• Determine shipment methods based on procedures, routes and rates.
• Coordinate with vendors, carriers and internal teams to confirm deliveries.
• Unpack, examine, reject damaged items, and coordinate with shippers to rectify.
• Fill orders, issue supplies and rotate stock for freshness.
• Resolve delivery issues using purchasing systems.
• Stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
