Sodexo is seeking a Stock Worker and Receiver to support warehouse operations in Wilmington. The role involves receiving merchandise, unloading goods, labeling items, stocking shelves, and assisting with customer orders.

The position requires physical work, with regular walking and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally. Shifts are weekday mornings, and full-time employment is offered with Sodexo's benefits package.

Qualifications

• 0-1 year experience required.
• May require a valid driver’s license.
• May require a forklift operation certification.

Responsabilités

• Verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment.
• Receives, lifts, moves, stores, issues, counts, sorts, weighs, and verifies items on requisitions or invoices.
• Receives and processes a wide variety of incoming freight across buildings according to priority.
• Compares shipments to bills of lading, invoices, orders or records to verify information.
• Determines method of shipment, routes, and rates.
• Communicates with vendors, carriers, and internal departments to coordinate delivery schedules.
• Unpacks and examines shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and coordinates with shippers.
• Fills orders, issues supplies from stock and rotates stock.
