Job summary

GEODIS is seeking a Stager Operator in Houma, LA to execute stager policies and drive efficient material handling. You will operate equipment to move materials, plan pull/pick lists, and coordinate with the Stager team to meet delivery dates.

The role supports process improvements and lean initiatives while maintaining safety and compliance. Ideal candidates have an Associate degree or vocational training, experience with SAP, HazMat and TWIC certifications, and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or vocational training required.
• Experience with SAP for inventory and logistics.
• Hazardous material certification preferred.
• TWIC certification and offshore experience is a plus.
• Lean certification is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Execute stager policies and procedures efficiently.
• Move materials using material handling equipment.
• Plan and execute pull/pick lists and outbound shipments.
• Coordinate workload with Stager operations team.
• Suggest physical layout and storage optimization in stager area.
• Contribute to cost savings and process improvements.
