Job summary

A Carter Custom Millwork (a division of Carter Lumber) is seeking a Warehouse Specialist (Staging/Loading) to manage the shipping and receiving workflow and ensure proper storage of stock and custom materials.

You will secure outgoing materials for delivery, assist inventory control, follow safety guidelines, and help load boxes and shipments.

Job description

A Carter Custom Millwork (a division of Carter Lumber) Warehouse Specialist (Staging/Loading) is responsible for conducting the workflow of shipping and receiving materials. Ensures proper and organized storage of stock and custom materials, while also securing outgoing materials for delivery. Astrong belief in the mission and goals of the company are necessary to this position.

Responsibilities:
Warehousing

• Responsible for providing proper storage of all materials produced and received. Assists in inventory on stock material and reports shortages to proper personnel. Ensures incoming orders are correct and placed in proper storage areas.

Staging/Loading

• Responsible for loading stock and custom materials according to the order.
• Load and secures on box trucks, semi trailers, sprinter vans for delivery

Safety

• Adheres to safety requirements when operating tools and equipment. Handles material in a safe and appropriate manner. Reports any defects or safety issues immediately.
