Carter Custom Millwork, a division of Carter Lumber, is seeking a Warehouse Specialist (Staging/Loading) to manage shipping/receiving workflows and ensure secure, organized storage of stock and custom materials. The role emphasizes accuracy, speed, and adherence to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Warehousing: provide proper storage of all materials and assist in inventory; report shortages to proper personnel; ensure incoming orders are stored correctly.
• Staging/Loading: load stock and custom materials according to the order; secure for delivery on box trucks, semi trailers, or vans.
• Safety: adhere to safety requirements when operating tools and equipment; report defects or safety issues immediately.

Job description

A Carter Custom Millwork (a division of Carter Lumber) Warehouse Specialist (Staging/Loading) is responsible for conducting the workflow of shipping and receiving materials. Ensures proper and organized storage of stock and custom materials, while also securing outgoing materials for delivery. Astrong belief in the mission and goals of the company are necessary to this position.

Responsibilities

Warehousing

• Responsible for providing proper storage of all materials produced and received. Assists in inventory on stock material and reports shortages to proper personnel. Ensures incoming orders are correct and placed in proper storage areas.

Staging/Loading

• Responsible for loading stock and custom materials according to the order.
• Load and secures on box trucks, semi trailers, sprinter vans for delivery

Safety

• Adheres to safety requirements when operating tools and equipment. Handles material in a safe and appropriate manner. Reports any defects or safety issues immediately.
