Job Title : Warehouse Specialist

Location : Santa Fe Springs, CA

Duration : 6 Months

Shift : Mon-Fri : AM – PM

Pay Rate : $ / hour on W

Position Summary

  • The Warehouse Specialist is responsible for coordinating and processing incoming deliveries and outgoing shipments.
  • Accurately document incoming materials and ensure timely delivery to the proper department or warehouse location.
  • Process packages for shipping and load trucks to ship out on time.
  • Perform inventory control through cycle counting to verify all materials.
  • Handle and store goods in accordance with company policies and GMP procedures.
  • Operate forklift, walkie rider, order selector, or pallet jack as needed.
  • Coordinate incoming deliveries and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Manage inventory movement to minimize waste and loss, recording movements in the inventory system.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all laws and regulations.
  • Perform daily cycle counts of raw materials, molded components, and finished goods.
  • Initiate inventory adjustments and resolve discrepancies.
  • Assist with the disposal of non-conforming and expired inventory through Material Destruction Orders (MDOs).
  • Support rework team by locating and moving NCMR products.

Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications

  • Knowledge of shipping, loading, and off-loading trailers, including international shipments and commercial invoices.
  • Forklift operation certification required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and ability to learn Oracle and other software.
  • Effective communication skills (oral and written).

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma required.
  • Relevant experience in warehouse operations preferred.
