Job summary

Olgoonik Corporation is seeking Warehouse Specialists (PPP&M) to support the DLA Distribution Susquehanna Packaging House. You will perform PPP&M processing, remediate packaging discrepancies, and prepare material for shipment or return to stock.

You will operate forklifts and use WMS to process workload in a fast-paced environment. Experience with PPP&M, military packaging, and government warehouse systems is preferred.

Qualifications

• Warehouse, logistics, material handling, PPP&M, or related experience preferred.
• Ability to learn and apply established warehouse and PPP&M procedures.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment up to 15K capacity.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required installation and Government systems access.
• Ability to complete required background and controlled substance screening.
• Ability to meet DDSP access and employment requirements.
• Previous DLA Distribution experience.
• Experience with WMS/DSS or other Government warehouse systems.
• PPP&M, military packaging, stock readiness, or material remediation experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform PPP&M processing and remediation of material with discrepancies.
• Verify material against applicable documentation and execute corrective actions.
• Repackage, relabel, remark, and remediate material per requirements.
• Route material to storage or processing locations as directed.
• Store, stack, palletize, and rearrange material using established methods.
• Operate forklifts and other licensed material handling equipment.
• Use WMS and Government data systems to process workload and resolve errors.
• Follow DLA SOPs, military packaging, safety, and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area and support other activities.

Olgoonik is seeking Warehouse Specialists (PPP&M) to support a DLA Distribution Susquehanna Packaging House. Warehouse Specialists will perform hands-on warehouse and Preservation, Packaging, Packing & Marking (PPP&M) operations to remediate material discrepancies and prepare material for return to stock, shipment, or other Government-directed movement.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform PPP&M processing and remediation of material with identified packaging discrepancies.Verify material against applicable documentation.Execute required corrective actions for PPP&M discrepancies.Repackage, relabel, remark, and otherwise remediate material in accordance with established requirements.Route material to prescribed storage or processing locations.Store, stack, palletize, and rearrange material in accordance with established storage methods.Examine stored material and report damage, deterioration, or other discrepancies.Remove material from storage and prepare it for shipment based on MRO workload.Stage completed material for Government-directed movement.Operate forklifts and other authorized material handling equipment.Use WMS and other Government data systems to process workload and resolve common system errors.Follow established DLA SOPs, military packaging requirements, safety procedures, and quality standards.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.Support other warehouse and material movement activities as directed by the contractor supervisor.Experience operating forklifts, stock selectors, turret trucks, tow tractors, mobile cranes, JLG material handlers, or similar equipment.Army Pack-1A or Pack-1B training.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Warehouse, logistics, material handling, PPP&M, or related experience preferred.Ability to learn and apply established warehouse and PPP&M procedures.Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced warehouse environment.Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment, including equipment up to 15K capacity, as qualified and authorized.Ability to obtain and maintain required installation and Government systems access.Ability to successfully complete required background and controlled substance screening.Ability to meet DDSP access and employment requirements.Previous DLA Distribution experience.Experience with WMS/DSS or other Government warehouse systems.PPP&M, military packaging, stock readiness, or material remediation experience.Government-furnished training may include Distribution Operations, MHE operation/licensure, WMS, Packaging 101, Wood Packaging Materials, Electrostatic Discharge Susceptible (ESDS), and additional packaging/stock-readiness training as applicable.
