Job summary

SENKO Advanced Components, Inc. is seeking an in-office Warehouse/Shipping Associate in Poway, CA. This role requires on-site presence five days a week to manage daily order processing, packaging, and inventory controls within the Optical Communications division.

You will review RMAs, support quality-control processes, and participate in continuous improvement to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction. A high school diploma and ERP/shipping system familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous shipping/receiving/order fulfillment/picking/inventory control and barcode scanning experience preferred.
• Familiarity with UPS, FedEx and other freight/shipping systems and package-handling apps is preferred.
• ERP systems experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management and shipping best practices is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process daily sales orders, including printing, labeling, picking, verification and shipment preparation.
• Review RMAs and non-conforming materials on a monthly basis.
• Conduct quarterly reviews of operational errors to improve customer satisfaction and service quality.
• Support quality control processes and ensure warehouse quality standards compliance.
• Document corrective action requests related to warehouse operations and responsibilities.
• Manage packaging materials inventory and drive improvements to packaging processes and efficiency.
• Perform routine inventory counts and assist with accuracy initiatives.
• Maintain organized warehouse environment and proper storage/handling of products.
• Ensure warehouse tools/equipment are maintained and available for use.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized work environment per company standards.
• Prepare and maintain documentation for inbound/outbound shipments.
• Participate in continuous improvement to enhance efficiency, quality and customer satisfaction.
• Support ISO compliance activities and maintain related documentation.
• Perform receiving activities and verify accuracy/quality of incoming shipments as needed.
• Shrink-wrap palletized outbound shipments for safe transport.
