Job summary

CHS Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Specialist to support warehouse and transportation operations, including inventory control, loading/unloading, equipment operation, and shipping/receiving documentation.

The role requires organizing inventory, dispatching loads, assisting drivers, and coordinating truck maintenance on a typical Monday–Friday schedule with potential on-call and weekend peak-season work. Responsibilities include operating end loaders and forklifts, performing pre-load inspections,

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in Supply Chain and Procurement and/or Warehouse Operations.
Forklift certification or ability to obtain forklift certification.
Ability to work extended hours during peak seasons to meet business demands.
High School diploma or GED preferred.
Pre-employment screening may be required including drug, criminal, motor vehicle checks and other requirements.

Responsibilities

Independently perform all warehouse functions including loading/unloading trailers, moving pallets, palletizing, picking orders and documenting transactions.
Ensure inventory accuracy and maintain proper order fulfillment.
Coordinate with drivers, vendors, customers and management for smooth operations.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with procedures and regulations.
Conduct truck inspections prior to loading and assist with vehicle maintenance as needed.
Follow first-in, first-out inventory rotation and proper shipping/receiving documentation.
