Job summary

Chugach Electric Association in Anchorage seeks a Warehouse Worker to support inventory, issuing, receiving, and storage of equipment and materials under supervision. You will operate forklifts, flatbed trucks, and pallet jacks for material handling and perform physical inventories.

Maintain records, ensure safety and housekeeping, and assist with deliveries to crews. Prior warehouse experience and a valid Alaska driver's license are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Two years (4,000 hours) experience as a warehouseman or material handler in an electrical utility or contractor setting.
• Ability to lift and handle objects safely per regulations.
• Ability to learn new materials and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist Warehouse Foreman/Leadman with inventory, issuing, receiving and storage of equipment and materials.
• Maintain accurate records of warehouse activities and perform safet y-focused tasks.
• Operate forklifts, flatbed trucks, and pallet jacks for material handling.
• Perform physical inventories and notify foreman of shortages.
• Keep warehouse and outdoor storage areas clean and organized.
• Pick up, deliver, and haul materials to crews as needed.
• Receive and process inventory into the management system.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
