Job summary

J.B. Hunt Transport, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Associate II in Raleigh, NC. The role supports inventory control, shipping, receiving, and materials handling to move goods within the warehouse. Flexibility across day, night, and weekend shifts is required to meet operational demands.

The position requires basic warehouse experience, OSHA awareness, and the ability to operate equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks. Benefits are available as part of the role.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age with up to 1 year of experience in a warehouse setting or military equivalent experience.
• Ability to work outdoors, in the elements, or across multiple shifts including nights and weekends if needed.
• Willingness to obtain forklift certification.
• OSHA knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Prepare goods and materials to be shipped with packing slips and perform basic inventory maintenance.
• Operate MHE such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and handcarts for loading/unloading and transport.
• Secure material and products for transport and ensure compliance with internal control procedures.
• Process material stock requests, orders, and returns in inventory/billing systems.
• Check-ins/outs, verify order completeness, and inspect for damage.
• Receive, issue, and store supplies and equipment; inspect and count for accuracy.
