Job summary

McLane is hiring a Freezer Warehouse Specialist in Rocky Mount, NC. Starting pay is $18.50/hour plus $0.75 freezer pay to $19.25/hour. The role involves selecting products, loading trucks, and moving items between dock and storage in Dry, Refrigerated, Perishables and Freezer zones.

Shifts are typically 40–50 hours per week. Benefits begin on day 60, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• At least 1 year of distribution warehouse experience, including operation of reach truck, pallet jack, and forklift is desired.
• Candidates may be subject to a background check and drug screen, in accordance with applicable laws.

Responsibilities

• Review documents and record information; verify quantity, identity, availability, and condition of product.
• Drive and operate a reach truck, pallet jack, and/or fork truck to select, pull, sort, and stack product within the warehouse and dock.
• Hand-stack product on occasion when items are off balance or in the wrong location.
• Shrink-wrap and label outgoing orders and remove shrink wrap from incoming orders.
• Assisting your fellow teammates, as needed.
• Other duties as necessary.

ABOUT THE JOB:

The Warehouse Specialist selects products and loads trucks, moving products between the loading dock and the warehouse and moving products within the warehouse. They may work in various areas

of the warehouse such as Dry, Refrigerated, Perishables, Freezer, and others.
