Summary

The MIL Corporation is seeking a Warehouse Specialist I to support a Federal Government client at our Lexington Park, MD locations.

This position currently requires an on-site schedule with 5 days on-site. Schedule is subject to change based on company/contract requirements.

This position is not eligible for The MIL Referral Bonus program.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain, enter, and update data in inventory databases
  • Track issuance of equipment
  • Receive, store, pack out, and handle equipment in a warehouse environment
  • Process discrepant materials
  • Transport materials to other sites using company supplied vehicles, including driving pickup trucks and box truck.

Travel

Up to 25% to other sites, as needed

Required Qualifications

  • At least 1-2 years' experience in the receipt, storage, and issuance of equipment, material or supplies in a warehouse environment
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record and ability to obtain Department of Transportation (DOT) certification
  • Extensive experience working with databases, including the entering and editing of data within an inventory database
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to operate a forklift (training will be provided)
  • Ability to operate a box truck long distance

  • Current Secret clearance

All applicants for this position must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance; please note that the clearance process takes into account financial background aspects.

Compensation

The SCA (Service Contract Act) role at The MIL Corporation is subject to the regulations and guidelines set forth by the U.S. Department of Labor. As an SCA position, it is classified as a service contract and is subject to specific wage determinations and benefit requirements mandated by the government.

The compensation and benefits for the SCA role at The MIL Corporation will be in accordance with the prevailing wage rates and benefits specified by the Department of Labor for the specific job classification and location. The current rate is $18.02 - $20.09per hour. Final salary for this position is determined based on factors such as individual qualifications, education, experience, and contractual limitations.
