Stuart Hose & Pipe, a SunSource company, is a leading hose and pipe distributer in the Southwest with over 70,000 in-stock products. A Warehouse Associate is responsible for picking and filling orders, measuring and cutting hoses, and managing stock in the warehouse.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Basic mathematical skills required.
• Ability to read a tape measure preferred.
• Able to lift heavy items and operate warehouse machinery.
• Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate assembly equipment with proper training.
• Prepare orders by processing pick tickets; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area.
• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standards.
• Maintains inventory by collecting stock location orders, recording amounts of materials picked and noting discrepancies.
• Maintain safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves and work stations neat; sweep and organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times.
• Operate materials handling equipment with proper training.
• Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouse, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other areas.
• Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damages to supervisors.
• Provide assistance or direction to other warehouse employees
