Job summary

Olgoonik is seeking a Warehouse Specialist to support deployable inventory and warehouse operations for the DLA network.

The role involves physical inventory, material handling, WMS transactions, and ensuring audit readiness. Candidates must be willing to travel and deploy to multiple facilities in CONUS and OCONUS. A U.S. passport and clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Must successfully complete required training, including WMS, MHE, mock audit, safety, security, and other mandatory training.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain required installation access and Government system credentials.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical inventory counts and recounts.
• Verify materials against receiving and inventory documentation.
• Identify and report discrepancies, damage, and deterioration.
• Route material to prescribed storage locations.
• Store, stack, palletize, and rearrange material in accordance with established procedures.
• Perform Pick, Stow, Relabeling, and other warehouse actions.
• Remove material from storage and prepare it for shipment.
• Use WMS, DSS, and other Government data systems.
• Follow established DLA SOPs and warehouse procedures.
• Support Difference Analyzer and inventory remediation activities.
• Assist with mock audits and targeted inventory efforts.
• Operate hand trucks, power equipment, and other MHE when qualified and authorized.
• Participate in team workload planning and daily operational activities.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Deployment is an essential function of this position.

Overview:

Olgoonik is seeking Warehouse Specialists to support deployable inventory and warehouse operations throughout the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Distribution network.

Warehouse Specialists will perform physical inventory, warehouse, material handling, WMS transactions, Pick, Stow, Relabeling, and other activities necessary to improve inventory accuracy and support DLA's financial audit readiness mission.

• Deployment is an essential function of this position. Employees may be required to temporarily deploy from their assigned home station to other DLA Distribution Centers based on operational requirements.
• Potential deployment locations include DLA Distribution facilities throughout the United States and overseas, including Europe/Germany, Guam, Korea, Japan, and Sigonella, Italy.
• Candidates must be willing to travel, work at different DLA facilities, adapt to changing mission requirements, and support short-duration, high-priority inventory and audit missions.

Education and/or Experience:

• Must successfully complete required training, including WMS, MHE, mock audit, safety, security, and other mandatory training.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain required installation access and Government system credentials.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Must be willing to travel, work at different DLA facilities, adapt to changing mission requirements, and support short-duration, high-priority inventory and audit missions.
• Ability to perform physical inventory and warehouse duties with a high degree of accuracy.
• Ability to learn and use WMS and other Government systems.
• Ability to operate or qualify to operate material handling equipment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to work in an active warehouse environment and perform physical duties associated with warehouse operations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Warehouse, inventory, logistics, distribution, or material handling experience preferred.
• Active U.S. passport required and must remain valid throughout employment.
• Must be willing and able to deploy for up to two weeks at a time to DLA Distribution Centers throughout the CONUS and OCONUS.

• Must have a current US Government SECRET Personnel Security Clearance or be able to successfully complete a U.S. government administered Investigation.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must have an Active Passport
