Turner Industries is seeking a Warehouse Worker in Kingsport, TN. The role involves receiving, storing, and distributing materials, mainly pulling and storing pipe and steel in laydown yards.

This non-exempt position reports to the Foreman and follows site procedures with frequent checks. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, forklift operation knowledge, and good communication and organizational skills.

Formación

• High school or equivalent.
• Knowledge of operating a forklift.
• SAP experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem solving skills.
• Some sites may require a forklift certification.
• Post offer drug screen and signed acceptance of Turner Industries Group, LLC. Drug, Alcohol and Contraband Policy.
• Comply with company and client job site safety requirements.
• Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others in the workplace.

Responsabilidades

• Stores, removes, loads, and unloads all types of materials from storage bins, pallets and vehicles that cannot be handled by material handling devices.
• Operates manual or mechanical devices and stocks inventory shelves.
• Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
• Assorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or bins according to predetermined sequences such as size, type, style, or color.
• Moves materials and supplies from the warehouse and prepares for delivery.
• Fills requisitions, work orders or requests for materials, tools, or stock items.
• Records material items received or distributed.
• May maintain inventory records.
• Operates a fork truck and accesses SAP transactions.
• Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction.
