Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Warehouse Associate to load and unload materials, operate a forklift and overhead crane, and support daily inventory activities.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, ability to lift 50 lbs, and certification for forklift/crane operation. The team works first shift in Abilene, TX, with full-time hours and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• A combination of education and experience may be qualifying.
• Must be able to become certified to operate a forklift vehicle and overhead crane.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials and products; operate forklift, overhead crane and construction tools.
• Complete work assignments and customer orders safely, accurately and timely; assist co-workers and customers.
• Inspect materials, products, machinery, tools, and equipment.
• Assist with inventory management; daily ERP updates.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
• Assist in movement of inventory within and among workstations and areas.
• Comply with safety requirements and use PPE.

JOB DETAILS

Base pay rate is $19.00 per hour

1st Shift: 7:00AM - 4:00PM

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform material and product loading and unloading activities to support the branch location. In their day-to-day duties, they operate a forklift, overhead crane and construction tools
• Complete work assignments and customer orders safely, accurately, timely and without damageAssist co-workers and customers
• Inspect materials, products, machinery, tools and equipment
• Assist with inventory management activities including daily updates to the ERP system
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment
• Assist in the movement of inventory within and among workstations and areas
• Comply with all safety requirements and use applicable personal protective equipment
