Job summary

SMX is seeking a Warehouse Specialist to oversee daily receiving, material handling equipment operation, and general warehouse functions at the Fayetteville facility. You will ensure accurate receiving and put-away of inbound freight, assist with kit assembly for JCP shipments, and help develop warehouse SOPs.

The role requires a high school diploma, 2+ years of warehouse experience, and forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days).

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years warehouse or distribution experience.
• Current forklift certification (or obtain within 30 days).
• Experience using an inventory system and basic Excel.
• Ability to read POs, packing lists, and bills of lading.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily receiving and put-away of inbound freight.
• Assist with kit assembly for shipments and develop SOPs.
• Operate/monitor material handling equipment and ensure safety.
• Conduct cycle counts and assist with inventories.
• Train new teammates and track shift metrics.
