Job summary

Jessup Manufacturing Company is seeking a Warehouse Material Handler to move raw materials into production and remove finished goods to shipping areas. You will read work orders, operate a forklift, and ensure accurate inventory movements using bar code scanners.

Responsibilities include helping with inventory, supporting safety practices, and cooperating with supervisors to maintain a clean, efficient warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining paperwork and records.
• Certified forklift operator.
• Ability to propel and control heavy chemical vats on wheeled pallets.
• Must be able to push, pull, and move multi-ton rolls of material and lift at least 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Delivers material promptly to production areas according to schedule.
• Identifies materials returned to inventory.
• Removes finished goods to shipping or finished goods warehouse.
• Moves finished goods from warehouse for packaging or shipping.
• Performs inventory transactions using JENISYS and bar code scanners.
• Participates in physical inventory functions.
• Issues material to work orders and records inventory transactions.
• Suggests changes to improve quality, efficiency, safety, or communication.
• Follows safety practices and maintains a clean, orderly work area.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
